This post makes zero sense, the drop rate should not be increased unless we want to get as many exotics as legendaries (destiny 2 at launch), I played D1 since beta the drop rate is higher, you're not max light you are 50 light levels away on both characters (nice attempt), if you go into every activity expecting an exotic you need to change your expectations it's extremely unlikely and therefore unrealistic, using your math and your math alone to prove the drop rate is bad is a horrible idea (you need more people to prove it)

You know there's this crazy thing between where exotic drops we're and where they are now. It's called middle ground. Bungie works only in extremes, either too little or too much of anything. We have to be smarter than that.

True but I have played 200 hours since forsaken and same thing, 3 exotics( only 1 armour). I have hit the cap and gotten my title but there is no point me playing simply to get exotics since they basically never drop. At least significantly up the drop rate in the last wish for them. And seriously yr1 D2 did not drop exotics like legendaries. They were far more common but not that much. There should be a mid ground.
