Destiny 2 literally prevents me from doing anything else on my PC

This first occurred yesterday, I tabbed out of destiny to google something and I quickly noticed that i could not click anything at all, whether its the tabs down the bottom of the screen, anything on the desktop or even anything on a program I already had open! I am able to alt+tab to switch between programs that are open but can't do anything with them. Even after closing the game then problem still continues. My computer is pretty much useless at the point! To fix this, it requires a quick reboot of the ol' PC. Now, as quick as my PC is at starting itself up, it's sure a hell of a lot slower than just closing the game and continuing with my life. Any advice would be appreciated!!! note: I have tried running the game in both windowed and windowed borderless with no change. This also only happens with Destiny!!!

  • SOLVED (AT LEAST FOR NOW) The problem seemed to be with my actual mouse, it's coming to the end of it's life i assume as all the buttons don't register like they used to! At first I realised I could fix the problem by just spamming left and right click on the mouse until I regained control. Now, I've just switched out the mouse and the problem as disappeared! Hopefully it won't come back but it doesn't seem to be a Bungie issue, rather a hardware issue!!
