High rate of fire weapons are almost unusable. I have really good rolled HRoF weapons but it's incredibly hard to hit your shots with the high recoil on consoles.

I have 0 issue controlling the recoil of weapons, you’re prolly just bad
-
I think I have good aim with a HRoF auto. I think Autos would be over powered if autos have less recoil.
-
I'm a terrible player but can still control recoil pretty well. It's you, not the game.
-
Recoil is fine, its the uncontrolable flinch that ducks your aim

I'm so glad I play on pc with 120 fps, high settings and 1440p resolution :)
-
Just dont use them

I had a quick blast on D1 today and used a mediocre Hopscotch Pilgrim. It was a buttery smooth experience compared to the D2 weapons. On XB1S

Bungie doesn't care. Or they're too useless to make anything better. Just hope activision takes the game from them and gets a competent developer to fix this nightmare

Edited by WED Nosce: 11/15/2018 9:38:01 AMWhether you think the recoil of Auto-rifles is "manageable" or not is irrelevant because what is manageable for one person might not be for another. In the end, none of this really matters. This game is designed AND balanced SOLELY for the PC player in mind. This game is broken from the ground up simply because frame-rates dictate player speed, which includes DPS because damage is also tied to frame-rate. If you're on a console and you are upset with how a particular gun fires, you should be. Bungie was clearly only considering their PC streamers when this game was designed because 100% of every single accomplishment or triumph is easily obtainable on PC. But for console users, we have to consider, armor, weapons, perks, mods, load-outs, masterworks, and glitches and exploits to attain the same level of completion as on PC. But yeah, let's focus on the gun stability alone.

trust...smh its got way to much aim assist
-
Bygones feels like I'm playing Abortnite - my shots go where they want and -blam!- off to the corner

This is obviously a topic that has been discussed many times. Regardless of your thoughts on this, I've been a Bungie consumer for nearly 20 years now and I can say without hesitation that I am no longer "on board". I used to spend so much time praising Bungie and their games it's not funny. I find it far more difficult to defend them as a quality game designer these days. Regardless if the PC version was RELEASED before or after, it's still programmed by humans so therefore it's balance in relation to the console was a chosen decision. From having to watch youtubers on PC breeze through otherwise impossible triumphs on console, to Bungie deciding to side with Playstation after taking Xbox customer's money for over a decade, I'm moving on. I just purchased Fallout 76 today, and with Anthem coming out next year I don't see much reason to waste anymore time on D2 worrying about such short-comings. Thanks for the input. Sorry if I upset any fanboys. It wasn't my intent.

Just get yourself a Xim Apex, half decent mouse and keyboard and you can push your "sticky target" aim assist through the roof so when you have your reticle on an enemy, it stays there!!
-
PC MASTER RACIAL feels good to play the game the best way possible
-
Destiny 1 Hardlight & NechroCasm, it was like Trying to take a leak on a 10.5 magnitude Earthquake
-
I cry everytime i see a PC player cross map with AoS and Thunderlord with laser beam accuracy
-
I have a HCR/Rangefinder/under pressure valkadyn, the counterbalance mod helped heaps!
-
It's really not that bad, try rainbow six on console Lol
-
Pc is ezmode. Get used to having to try.
-
Get a pc
-
I agree, And this is exactly why the meta right now goes around stuff that hardly requires aim, all aim assist and random explosion is all you see
-
Consoles should have the same recoil that the PC version does. Meaning, none.
-
You might consider adjusting your sensitivity. Recoil is perfectly manageable, you just have to practice a bit with the weapon you want to use and get it into your muscle memory.

Edited by TJ_Dot: 11/15/2018 8:28:26 PMHandcannons losing Aim assist mid-gunfight, or losing the ability to return on target because of weird Aim-assist tracking would be nice to fix Surprised I'm not alone here.
