Our Game Security Team issues an escalating series of enforcement actions twenty four hours per day, and we also issue some enforcement actions in big waves. We don't announce our enforcement actions because it gives cheaters information on how our detection works.
Since November 1st, we’ve issued enforcement actions to 1,120 players for violating our terms of service, including cheat programs, network manipulation, and DDoS. Our Game Security Team is always updating our monitoring tools to detect ever-changing attacks, and a human verifies every punishment before it is issued.
As always, if you believe to have encountered someone cheating, please use this contact form to report suspects accordingly.

Edited by LordShaxx: 11/11/2018 4:25:58 PMBS, I have a reported a number of obvious ddos'ers over the couse of this year and they are ALL still playing. The evidence I included was rock solid, even included my router logs. This response from you is just another pr trick to hide the fact that Bungie is too incompetent to succesfully manage a big online game. The state of pvp in general is can also attest to that.

Its only a two month ban bro obviously they’re goin to keep playing

Just yesterday I had a Titan teleporting all over the map in a Clash Quickplay match. Our team lost 96 to 2. I know there are some really good Crucible players, but none of them are that good without cheating. Our team couldn't even damage the other team.

Mercy would kick in.
-
Mercy rule did kick in. That is just how fast the score went up.
-
So fast that they racked up the score quicker than the respawn timer would allow for? I see a game in your history that was 64 to 8. Is that the one youre talking about? The top on the other team had 21 defeats. Not exactly unheard of.
-
Depends how fast the god titan was getting around xD

Yea, I'm sure that Bungie would ban 1000 people, but their track record would indicate that they banned the wrong 1000 people.

Name and shame all 1,120 people so we know which cheaters were dealt with and which ones are left. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. . . . 1119. 1120.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but if Bungie doesn’t want to ban all cheaters for whatever their reason is , then take crucible out of the game .Bungie knows the problems in crucible but they keep failing to sort it. It’s no fun and hasn’t been for a long time , so if this is the best we can expect shut it down. Truth is destiny 2 should never have been released without dedicated servers, this wouldn’t solve all the problems but it would make a big difference, I don’t want promises of dedicated servers for destiny 3 I want this game I have already paid for to be fixed not promises if we buy the next one . I won’t be touching destiny 3 if they can’t get this one right .
-
Dedicated servers would fix 99% of their problems.
-
God can we get, like, 1,000,000,000 upvotes on this please?! 😅👍

Hahaha, full of shit. You guys want your numbers to look as good as possible, the lot of you aren't banning shit.
Hahaha, full of shit. You guys want your numbers to look as good as possible, the lot of you aren't banning shit.
LOL! With as crooked as Bungie is, I'm surprised they didn't "cook" the numbers! Who knows? Maybe they did! That might be why they have the numbers they have now! I mean, the numbers may be even lower than anyone thinks!

The only way is console ban. When I bought my PS4 with d2 I read somewhere on bungie terms of service something like this : if multiple accounts play on the same system ( pc,console, etc) they ban that accounts and system ,so they can track the number of accounts playing on a system but they don't do nothing. If I am not wrong was pretty much like I said.maybe they changed the TOS and you wont find what I said. PSN TOS also says if you give your password( username, personal information) to someone else this mean ban because violate psn TOS. Carryes and recovery's must not be accepted on bungie app and that profiles must be banned . I DONT CARE ABOUT LUNA OR OTHER SHIT FROM PVP. ALREADY I QUIT PLAYING PVP BECAUSE IS SHIT. I was ddosed too ,some time ago. But PvP in d2 is worse now than one year ago. Sorry for my English, I am not American.

I don’t think they can do this. A fair number of families play on the same Xbox. One kid my have their Xbox live account, another kid has their own, etc. They all play via the same Xbox but on different accounts. I don’t know a good solution, but I don’t think banning consoles with different accounts is the solution.
