And no, I’m not asking for handouts. If anything, the exotic grind reminds me of me grinding for specific legendaries in Borderlands 2 (I was an absolute collector in that game) except for one component missing: In Borderlands, I could grind a specific boss over and over and eventually get a legendary for fighting the same boss and optimizing strategies in the process. Only 1 issue: In Borderlands, that legendary was guaranteed eventually, it was just a matter of time. Here: that isn’t even the case with strike loot. At least, not anymore. In my eyes, they need some way to get around the issue of it being almost impossible to earn any exotics rn, especially with the amount of dupes and RNG.

Edited by That One Guy (Inept): 10/24/2018 8:02:31 PMIn terms of exotics not feeling exotic enough, I mean in abilities. Some exotics are flat out boring or completely ignored because of how they are (fighting lion arguably being only good in PvP as a troll weapon, Vigilance Wing only really being used in Crucible (that’s the only place I see it so...), Hard Light (though I argue that nobody seems to know how to fight one in Crucible (every match I run with it, everybody either panics at the sight of the disco party or they die trying to outgun it), etc.). Some exotics just really need to have some abilities looked at and tweaked accordingly (knowing Bungie, either this won’t happen or it’ll be them not implementing the tweaks right and out right breaking stuff). TL:DR: Exotics need buffs to how reliably (rarity is fine, it’s the methods of how that need buffs), you can find them, exotic abilities can use some changes to make some of them viable for everything, and dupes suck.
