You know why I love bnet more than the Destiny subreddit? The polls!
So some guy on reddit with a good track record for Destiny rumors says Destiny 3 will come in 2020 and year 3 content for Destiny 2 will be another Annual Pass. I find this unbelievable because Bungie's contract calls for bi-annual retail releases and major DLC. Destiny 2 was delayed by a year because Bungie -blam!-ed up. Now that they are back on track, we should see Destiny 3 in September of the next year. But what if the anonymous reddit guy is right? Is it a mistake to let the playerbase bleed for another year like the great Destiny malaise of 2016 or the post Rise of Iron period, and in a time when Destiny will be competing with Anthem, Fallout 76, The Division 2, and perhaps Borderlands 3 (fingers crossed)? Or is Bungie doing the right thing by making Destiny 3 a whole experience instead of the broken releases that were Destiny and Destiny 2?

2 RepliesForsaken was a huge change imo with the changes to weapons and slots and bringing back random rolls, on top of that the content. I would rather the wait and get really great content with really good story as so far the story looks to be heading in a pretty good direction. The little lore easter eggs out there is culminating to something, it's very possible that D3 is a new species. However they have righted somewhat and now that the weapon slots are in a better place that platform is there now to continue with. Wait and see, but I'm definitely looking forward to what is coming. I did preorder Anthem so i'm looking forward to getting into that open world.
