The loot pool is frustratingly small. I suspect that the live team only had time to do a certain amount and the loot pool was the part that suffered.

This is what I don't get, correct me if I'm wrong. Before forsaken was released they said they had added 2000 new items. That is a hell of a loot, or where they talking about something else? from what I've gathered they are not even close to that amount or they are going to drip feed it.

  • They class every different roll of an item as a new item I suspect 😂

I dunno bout all that.. I'd have to find that text somewhere. But in the collections tab there is only 1839 items, thats y1 and y2 Maybe they were talking about possible combinations?

  • The only thing I can come up with is the season pass.

  • I haven’t seen that but readily admit that I probably missed it. I agree that 2000 items added to the loot table would be a huge quantity. Even if items like ornaments, ships and sparrows, shaders and masks in the current festival are included we have seen only a tiny fraction of that amount so far. Perhaps that quantity includes any new items to be included in the future ‘season passes’ which would cover the rest of Year 2. If that is the case then it looks as if drip feed may be the way Bungie are going.

  • That season pass makes sense to why the loot pool is so low right now. They should have thought this through given the fact that even though the new events are fun, that will only last for a little while without loot to grind for.
