Since it seems that the masterwork drought will not change, please, make it so weapons of the same archetype don’t require cores. Maybe slightly higher legendary shards cost. Thank you.

Wasn't everyone complaining that better armor and infusions were too plentiful? And that no one was playing because of that?
-
They need removed from infusion entirely. They should only be required for Masterworking your weapons and armor. You know, their original purpose.
-
Drought? They are adding them to bounties on the 30th. You can earn 21 this week from the Halloween event. It's triple xp in crucible right now and you get 10 per reset and you can get 21 from spider for a few shards a day. There is a lot of ways to get them right now.
-
Remember that this is all because of streamers.
-
Forget cores let's talk about mod components
-
Masterwork Cores needs to be removed from the Infusion.

Edited by Tufcat: 10/20/2018 10:50:38 AMThis topic has been beaten into oblivion and while I 100% agree with (almost) every suggestion regarding mwc increases I'm wondering is anyone running out of mod components? How do we get more? Dismantle unneeded mods? Is that the ONLY way? Certain Y1 weapons give you a component. So just pull them out and delete?

I have all weapons and armor I use at 600. And almost 170 MW, more than ever. One character, only pve without new raid. Do the trick with Mercury materials. Spend shards for 2-3k mats, level up, dismantle all, dismantle shaders, level up gunsmith, repeat. Time consuming but fastest way.

I thought they said they were going to add masterwork core bounties? Yeah, the system is garbage, and bungie is ran by a bunch of arrogant and greedy assholes, but how about you just shut up and be patient for several more days, obnoxious posts like this don’t help anything.

I kind of like this idea. Weapons in the same archetype do not require MW cores, but infusing a weapon of a different archetype could maybe cost 1 core.
-
Agreed
-
Or better yet remove them from infusing altogether then someone like can get around to upgrading the gear that I have got
-
Excellent idea
-
God, I hope they make it easier to infuse gear. Masterwork upgrades on non-masterworked gear is rediculously pathetic.
-
I support this statement. RCH
