Why can’t mods be available to any year 1 weapon?
-
Actually i have come to the realization that y1 weapons with mods would be absurd, why? Because any boosts that a mod should’ve given you was done using your masterwork, there are certain combos that might actually break the game

I would love to put counter balance on the Adjudicator, that smg wouldn’t move at all with it XD.

Ikelos sg + major spec = broken Midnight coup + minor spec = op

Edited by TheWagn: 10/16/2018 4:56:56 PMYea but Ikelos shotty with boss spec would be busted. Also midnight coup with minor spec would be busted. Year 1 had some of the best gear I feel like the only reason people are using new stuff is because you can do mods on it.

I feel that masterworking a year 1 weapon should unlock a mod slot. Not all Year 1 weapons are better than year 2 weapons. The weapon availability should be diverse. To prevent mod slots to force year 2 weapo use creates a scenario where only year 2 weapons get used. Which is just as bad as only having year 1 weapon use.

Don’t bother, by the time they get around to adding it in at their glacial pace d3 will be out and they would of removed it from that version anyway, because bad guys I guess. Besides can you imaging the Ikelos shotty with a boss spec mod?

To give a reason to get year 2 weapons, otherwise everyone will use the same 3 year 1 weapons for the rest of Destiny 2's lifespan.

If they did that I would never unequip my Last Perdition. I don't know if that's a bad thing.

Lol I know it’s a typo but I laughed when I read kids. Yeah stop giving contraceptives to year 1 weapons and give them kids - hehe I’m bad
