i lost interest because i have to equip whatever is higher then what i have, i still play the game to get my light level up but it's not fun. masterwork cores without forsaken are so rare, but even with forsaken i imagine i'd still be doing the same thing... no longer carry around weapons or armor that i like, just throwing on whatever is higher then my equipped...

You don't have to wear your highest light gear. As long as it is in your inventory you will get the drops at/above your level.

yeah, i kinda forgot about that but the way i had my inventory was i had all the weapon types that i know i use, as well as 3 armor sets that i liked the look of, being one set of each armor type. but now that year 2 armor has perks like d1 it's pointless to have year 1 armor, and since i don't have forsaken i haven't seen many armor sets of forsaken, so i'm kinda stuck with what little i have access to for the time being.
