It wasn’t necessarily just his feelings. He also apologized for past mistakes in his videos, assumptions in lore, and what he perceived as a loss in video quality. He also spoke about his regrets of not using his experiences and his public following to attempt to help people. His point was not just to give his feelings, it was to make right what he believed his wrongs to be.

  • People are starving to death and dying from disease daily. I honestly dont think anybody should give a -blam!- about byf or his video about self loathing

  • People are going to die regardless. To say you shouldn't give a -blam!- about somebody's issue(s) because others go through hardships and die is downright wrong.

  • Legitimately no reason to feel "depressed" about how your translations of Bungie writers farts on paper turn out to be accurate or not.

  • For him yes. it’s what he does, his career at this point. When he gets things wrong it hurts his rep, but it seems to me what bothers him more is the fact that he misinformed, and produced bad content.
