The latest exotic chest piece for void hunter dropped for me yesterday. It was in the middle of getting my ass kicked on a solo heroic adventure. While I’ve always realized that Destiny was “just” a video game, seeing that bright yellow engram drop between two extremely annoying Taken ogres lit a fire under my Lazyboy ass. I whooped. I hollered. Got it. It was awesome. Then I had to turn it off. Bleary-eyed and drained, I went to sleep. Had to get up early the next morning. Work. Sigh. It was worth it, I think. When it dropped, it kind of meant something. I paid for it, through sheer grind. Now I’m running void hunter, playing it right (it’s not Bladedancer) and now I have something else to try and master beside the one-tap Thousand Cuts. Keeps me honest. Me digs. Wah wah. PS - it’s “just” a video game 😂

  • I used to get that feeling when two would drop together in destiny 1

  • Seriously... I ran into a LS on Titan. While clearing the adds, I saw one drop. I went out of my way to avoid it until nothing in the room was left except for me, the chest and that Beautiful, bright, shiny yellow Engram. I just stood there looking at it for a while. Finally walked over it. It dropped me a Queenbreaker. Been a loooong time since I've had the feeling I had when I saw it and then when it popped a new item.
