I dont know why so many people hate the new infusion system i started forsaken with 50 cores and i have around 200ish now i just dont infuse anything unless i absolutely need it im still trying to get god rolls and try different stuff anyway so infusion hasnt been a big deal to me
i just dont infuse anything unless i absolutely need it
It is this reason that people are frustrated. The whole point of infusion is make gear useable. Not everyone wants to play with every weapon type. Not everyone wants to look busted as they grind for light. And not everyone cares about God rolls. My point is this...infusion makes gear "useable." Masterworking makes gear "special." You masterwork your God roll gear. Therefore, cores should not be required to make something "useable" they should be used to make weapons "special."

Mega bump

Its an unrewarding, boring, overinflated system. Most people dont like to use certain weapons or weapon types, yet have to because they cant infuse. It clogs up the inventory, and makes the general gameplay less fun. “Oh, you want to do a nightfall?” “ ok, let me equip my kinetic bow, my sidearm and sword so i can be a sufficient power level to do any damage.”
-
I had to run double sidearms and a sword to do a few Nightfalls, lmfao, wtf Bungie!!

How did you get cores?
-
Through dismantling, that consumable that gives you cores, buying cores from the spider(only when they cost 10 shards) I also did that spider planetary material thing once and got about 30 cores or so that way but the rest were just drops
-
Aah so you "FARMED" for cores, that's the current fix for core shortage, but still no good way of getting them besides RNG and spending 10M shards.
-
I mean played the activities that gave me powerful rewards dismantled anything that wasnt a god roll and by doing so got masterwork cores yeah
-
Seconded. I had 10 cores fall for me yesterday, simply due to this. It provides a reason to do the tier one powerful reward activities once you are over their cap level.
