TotallyNotThor was blinded from all directions, mist and flakes of ice whisking over his face like tiny razor sharp bullets. Onyxia stood next to him, howling. Thor tried to get his wolf to settle down, but even he himself couldn’t keep calm in this dire situation. He could see nothing beyond the flood of mist and ice, whirling around wildly. He was starting to get more worried. Had his team survived? Was Myst still at large? Would he come out of this in one piece?
He saw a slight hint of a figure in the mist, and it seemed to be getting darker and darker. Thor covered his face, looking through the gaps between his fingers. He waited in nervousness as the figure got closer.....
However, this figure seemed to tug off a long lost memory. It seemed to be a person, but covered in wisps. In one hand it held what seemed to be tiny red-tipped blades. It had red eyes, and a stern look. Immediately, Thor began to burst into tears, the freezing streams of water sliding across his face. He didn’t know why he had burst into such sadness. But for the first time in a long time, he finally felt the feeling that he had.... “lost”. He was on his knees now, his face buried in his hands as Onyxia tried to comfort her master.
But then.... a voice of familiarity began to slither into the air....
“Ah, don’t be such a weakling now....”
Thor looked up to see the figure he had seen earlier. His eyes widened and he let out a swift gasp. His hands were still. Only his mouth moved...
“ManofLight? Is that.... is that you?”
“No.... definitely not....”
Thor began to chuckle a bit. He had missed the Shadow’s sarcasm. ManofLight began to speak again in a grizzly and rough voice...
“Get up. The battle is far from over...”
Thor got up, and for a brief moment he looked down at the ground beneath him. When he looked back up, ManofLight was gone, his voice still lingering in Thor’s head.
Thor let magic flow through his hands like seeping vines of electricity. He was renewed with confidence. He would not let his friend down.
For three minutes, Thor waited. The mist gave no mercy, and continued to batter against the Druid’s face. Nearby, a shrill could be heard.... and the voice of.... MagicSpaceKitty?
Thor, curious now, began to walk towards the direction of the sound, the wind pushing against him. It could push his body, but not his courage.
As he tread through the mist, he heard a faint footstep behind him. He swiftly turned around to see a shadow of a figure. Thor back away in surprise, only to trip over what seemed to be a slippery rock. The shadow walked towards him, swiftly and silently, a wave of black cloth trailing behind it. It spoke in a grim and deep voice...
“Death would like a word with you...”
TotallyNotThor quickly got on his feet, only to get pushed aside by the figure. In its left hand it held a silver gleaming sword, the hilt not clearly visible to the eye as of yet. It kept walking towards TotallyNotThor, at a constant pace. Thor’s hands began to fill up with a bluish essence, and he readied himself. The figure took a swipe at Thor, a blow that would slit his neck, but he quickly ducked and followed up with a blast from his hands. The figure grunted as a streak of blue shot into his chest, and he took another unpredictable swipe, this time hitting the Druid in the arm. The Druid hissed in pain, grasping his right shoulder, now showering blood. Another swipe, now at Thor’s leg. A gash split his shin into a gaping red streak, bleeding heavily. He winced, and before the figure could follow up with another hit, he pushed it back, and sent a small streak of lightning striking into its chest. The mist around them seemed to get thicker and thicker, and the roars of the dragon were noticeably louder. The figure, putting its right hand on its chest, began to spoke through gritted teeth...
“Draksos told me you would be challenging. You should live up to that statement.”
Thor’s eyes began to glow a faint blue. The figure scoffed, and spun his sword in his left hand, creating a silver blur for a brief moment before swinging at the Druid. Thor caught the blade in mid-swing, and after briefly looking at the gleaming silver blade, he broke the blade in half, bringing his knee up to the blade and striking it, forming two pieces of silvered steel. The hilt-less piece fell to the ground, echoing a metallic clang as it dropped.
The figure’s eyes did not stray from his target, but he briefly turned to look behind him. Out of the mist, a purple glowing shadow was emerging. Thor pushed the figure away and ran in for a closer look. The figure seemed to bear tattered clothes and large clawed appendages.... any other features were hidden by the mist.
Thor found himself pushed to the ground, the figure with half a sword on top of him, pointing a blade at the Druid’s throat. The figure laughed loudly before slashing Thor across the chest. The Druid screamed in pain, blood pouring from a diagonal wound. Before the figure could swing for another attack, it was pushed aside by a purple shadow. Thor stood lying on the ground, wincing, hearing grunting and an ethereal growl. He turned his head to the side, and saw what seemed to be... MagicSpaceKitty fighting the figure. The mage was not herself at all. Her nails were larger than normal, and her cloak was in tatters. She bore a torn hood, enveloping a now wrinkled face dotted with purple eyes. The two figures were fighting viciously, with every swing from the figure’s sword slicing through the Mage’s cloak, and every blast of magic setting the figure on fire. Thor tried to stand up, but he immediately fell to the ground, exasperated. The battle raged on, and he began to blacken out, hearing only the voice of ManofLight echoing in his head as his vision became no more.

Only one thing was zooming through MagicSpaceKitty’s head right now: Rage. Her head almost hurt because of the anger. With every blast of magic, she sent the figure flying, and it made her feel.... good. She couldn’t describe it. A tendency for violence perhaps? Whatever it was, she knew deep inside that she had to keep doing it. She did not know why. She just had to.
The figure was clearly not going down without a fight. It swung at the mage with half a sword, barely missing the mage’s throat. The mage swiftly dodged to the right, and pushed the figure away with a blast of magic. Another swing by the figure. Yet another miss. The battle went on, until the mage had been able to trip her opponent onto the ground. She closed in for the kill, standing over here prey. A blue fire in one hand, she growled out a few words in a disgruntled voice...
“What is your name... weakling?”
The figure half snarled, have chuckled as he muttered his answer...
“You’ll find out soon enough... but for now... I would suggest you look up. Never know what’s in the damn skies these days...”
The mage heard the flapping of wings. She slowly turned her gaze up, to see a giant figure, hovering with two silver wings flapping up and down. Small feathers fell like snowflakes from the wings. Two vicious talons could be seen on the giant figure’s underbelly. A feathery tail writhed behind the figure, slithering up into the air. The creature’s face was that of a dragon... with blazing golden eyes, and silver plates stamped across its forehead. The mage slowly felt the rage seep out of her, and with that, her once wrinkled face now held the look of worry. Her nails began to retract. The purplish glow began to fall out of her. The figure once in front of her, on the ground, was now behind her, holding the blade right next to her throat. It spoke in a grim voice...
“Skyestra... dragon of the Sky. Hellish sight ain’t it? I think she’s pissed.”
The figure paused for a moment before speaking again...
“Wouldn’t you think?”
The mage felt a wave of pain jab through her back. She screamed and fell to the ground, hearing grim laughter as a puddle of blood began to surround her. She looked down at her chest to see the indent of a shank. She clenched the wound, but it seemed to hurt more. She closed her eyes, hearing only grim laughter and a loud call, sounding like that of a bird...
