Ok, so there is a difference between “bright” and “seasonal” engrams. At the end of season 3, we were getting 2 different engrams, the bright engram were repeats and complete random while the seasonal one did not give you duplicates until you have had them all. Are you sure you bought the special engram and not the regular one?

I don’t think you could just straight up buy the Solstice Engrams. I bought normal Bright Engrams because I wanted the Huckleberry ornament. My point is that by that point in the season, I had maybe 2 items still available to get from them, and it prioritized duplicates over just giving me them, even though I paid actual money for the engrams, which sucks ass from a consumer standpoint.

You could buy them. Yes it does suck but that is how the bright engrams work. It was why people loved the no dupes thing with solstice engrams. Bungie should fix it, but we will see.
