You know what irritates me about this more than anything; it's the people giving players grief for wanting the Sleeper nerfed in Gambit. Wanting something nerfed is not am empty, pointless little whinge, it's a plea to the developers to fix something that is inarguably broken.
I've just played five matches of Gambit. In each match, despite the opposing team NOT belonging to the same clan, the use of Sleeper absolutely ruined the game. It wasn't just the fact that every invasion saw us run for cover, it's that even when my team spawned the Primeval FIRST, the enemy team would invade constantly, wiping us all and healing our Prime. And can you guess what happened when I went over to their side with my Scout Rifle to try and return the favour? I was cut down by Sleeper in seconds. It's hard enough killing the Primeval due to the WOEFUL attitude towards ammo drops (I usually end up against the Primeval having no ammo whatsoever, because the drop rate is abysmal), so when I'm hammering the Prime with an Auto Rifle, only for that insignificant amount of damage to be undone by some pillock using that f*cking exotic. Christ, I've never played something so broken.
So as I said, anyone defending that gun is a moron who has NO idea about what balanced gameplay is. A gun that can one-shot someone from across the map, with hugely forgiving accuracy AND no damage fall off? Unbelievable. I'd quite happily remove Gambit from my Forsaken expansion if I could.
