This is out of the norm for the Bungie forums as it isn't just mindless complaining ;)
All jokes aside though, I just wanted to talk about D1's Gamemode Rift and about it's absence in D2.
Am I the only one that really REALLY misses this gamemode? It brought the perfect balance of teamwork suspense and skill to the table. Relying heavily on coordination and outplaying the opposing team. Also it made you feel like a damn hero when you dunked the enemy Rift, crushing there moral as they try there hardest to stop you. Not to mention Shaxx's awesome voice lines for the mode. "You're the runner guardian.... RUN"
Perhaps it was too hard for Solo queues to enjoy the mode hence the reason it was never added? I know I enjoyed solo queuing rift in D1 however. Perhaps the maps just aren't compatible with the mode? I find that hard to believe though as there are a lot of maps from D1 in the pool already.
I just wanted to know what you guys think and if you guys know if Bungie themselves have addressed the absence of Rift before? Also would be very interested in reasons as to why you guys think Rift isnt in D2. All comments are appreciated as I think this is a interesting topic and would be nice to see everyone's view on the mode.
Thanks for reading!
