Powerful gear reward bugged again
So I started to do this week's milestone and none of the powerful gear rewards is powerful, it instead rewards the gears with same power level as my character which does not help at all since it can be even lower than what I have. Anyone with the same issue?

The powerful gear keeps dropping for slots that are high. Already wasted about 7-8 powerful gear drops because they keep repeating for slots that already have high levels. It's so forking frustrating. Edit. Make that 9. Just completed a bounty for Petra. Lol. My arm is 563. 2 powerful gear today for that slot. If it's not gonna drop for above 563. The least it should do is drop for a slot that needs it.

Yeah one of my powerful rewards from the blind well was a 530 hand cannon while I'm sitting at 547 light.

I was doing my powefull today so i can jump in the dungeon and get my bow i was 365 and 3 out of 5 powefull gear dropped at 363 what the heck i went in the dungeon just to get one shot kiled by anything for 3 weeks i am level blocked by this bug i dont play the raid and every activity with powerful gear for 3 weeks is stoping me to do the dungeon next week the dungeon will probably be gone for a month rotation so is it my fault bungie is it you .... is it i want a fix asap i want my grinding of crusible and vanguard strikes for the past week to be compensated.

3 RepliesBungie has acknowledged this issue as of 9-19. I am having same PROBLEM. Make no mistake, this is a MAJOR PROBLEM. Easy for people to dismiss when they don't experience the issue. The week of the 18th, I had at least 6 Powerful gear rewards that did not drop at a higher light level. This week, still no fix. This is VERY dissappointing for people affected who play daily. Considering that Iron Banner was here and a new Raid focused on light, I feel like I preordered and paid 90 bones to be left behind. Nice that Bungie acknowledged the issue but that was 6 days ago with no forecast for a fix. Advice on how to handle this week would have been nice. This is gamebreaking and we need a fix immediately.

I completed all my milestone's today and I went up one level. I'm sorry but that is very disappointing. I get a 546 gauntlet when I have one equipped. I completed the gambit challenge and got my second lord of wolves and that dropped as a 543 and my bow that I have equipped is a freaking 547 like wtf Bungie. Exotics for crying out loud don't even drop as high as they are supposed to.

3 Repliesthe drops are for your light not for the slot if you have a 560 chest plate on but your light is 550 your not gonna get a 565 chest

Pro recommendation: save your Powerful Engram Tasks until the last minute. Wait as long as you can and hope they have a fix before the weekly reset on Tuesday. They are working full time on numerous bugs and this one is a priority. I’m thankful that they are actually fixing issues.

Have the same problem. Sometimes it's 555 while I'm 554 and sometimes it's beneath my lvl. Classic bungo.
