Try instead. Remove the flags on players that say how many motes they have, insert player tags at the top of the screen that show how many motes each player has, is your problem if you picked to engage the player with two motes instead of the one with 15. If you get rid of that one feature, you don't need to worry about the rest. Though I still feel imposing a "teleportation sickness" on the invader that limits their long range view and forces them to have to get closer to the targets with shotguns, grenade launchers, and supers is the better solution.... But people do love to snipe...
