Like many, many people posting here, I've been struggling with the high framerate stutter issue for the last few months, which occurs every time I'm in public spaces for more than 5 minutes and quickly gets worse the longer I play.
I've tried every suggested fix discussed here by Bungie and by users on Reddit. Nothing worked. My last hope was picking up an RTX 2080 to see if it truly was just an NVIDIA Series 10 problem.
The RTX 2080 DOES NOT fix the stutter with higher frames, at least not for my PC. I'm out of options.
Bungie, can we please get an update on this annoying problem? An acknowledgement of the bug and a possible timetable (if any exists) would go a long way. I want to love Forsaken, but it's hard to stomach this amount of microstutter with every mouse movement whenever I'm in game.

Edited by Sunwheel: 10/15/2018 4:10:23 AMEdit: I solved this by ending all nonessential process trees via Task Manager and stopping all nonessential services via Computer Management. Don't know which one it was and don't feel like taking the time to find out. Good luck everybody.

what mouse do you have and what Motherboard ? And does the mouse come with a program to optimize it ?

Wow that's goddamn awful. I tried going from a i7-4790k to a i7-8700k and didn't see any bit of an improvement. At this point we have to assume its a bug deep in the game engine.

Edited by Sloth: 9/23/2018 9:41:25 PMAt this point I can not decide if everybody is effected by this bug and they do not see the stuttering or if we are the ones chosen to suffer while ppl with identical specs can play without issues. I am so frustrated now that I started to look for alternative sources of happiness besides the good'ol gaming. No luck yet :D Still my life looks like up voting stutter forum posts and trying possible fixes than I just remind myself that every other game runs smooth like butter ,to bad I am so stupid that I actually only want to play d2.

Also rebuilding your PC from scratch with the latest drivers, etc. does not help. I feel like the micro stuttering got worse with the forsaken release. I don't remember this level of stuttering with War Mind.

Hope this gets addressed now that a whole other generation of cards are affected.

Also many ppl are down voting the posts about this issue. Got 6 down votes on my recent post. I am very curios what plays in the mind of a guy who does that. :D
