Recently my other Bungie account was permanently banned due to me using "cheat engine" to see if i could duplicate gunsmith materials. I knew at the time it wouldn't work and sure enough it didn't. I then logged out of my account for a bit and came back some time later to play with a friend of mine. I then learned my account was permanently banned do to third party software usage. I was directed to to forum that clearly showed this was against the rules of the game. The rules also state bans are only handed out in extreme cases. I had no intent on harming other players or making the gaming experience worse for the other players. This was my first offence and only offence and i was just out right banned after 1000+ hours in game and more than id like to admit money spent on the game. I do agree a punishment is in order for breaking the rules, but a permanent ban? I do believe that is a little harsh. If nothing can be done so be it but i would hope that this can be undone... I feel horrible and have no intention of ever using any sort of 3rd party software again. Could you please reconsider this level of punishment? Kindest regards Karma
