NEW CONSUMABLE THAT CAN DROP MASTERWORK CORES
I got this thing today called Finest Matterweave or something like that, from dismantling a legendary. Finest something. It says that bosses have a chance to drop a masterwork core when killed, and the likelihood increases every time a core doesn’t drop.
Seems like we’re taking a small step in the right direction. Things aren’t fixed yet, but my hope is that a vendor(Xur?) would sell these. Does anybody know?

Old news, it has been in the game since the launch of forsaken. The buff goes away after a single core drop.

It would be good if it gave a boon that lasted 4 hours and killing challenging enemies and doing activities had chances to reward you masterwork cores. That would be better than just receiving one and then the buff ending upon a masterwork core dropping.

You just kinda get that from dismantling things sometimes, if I recall. It’s been here since Forsaken drooped.
