Weeks after Forsaken, I still can't get over how -blam!-ing beautiful this place is. Seriously pay these artists.

Props to the Destiny art team! You guys are amazing!!!
-
Fire the art team I'm charge of armor, so -blam!-ing ugly. And why is most tiran armor for mobility???
-
They deserve awards, point blank. I honestly think that, considering that this is a shared world looter shooter, this game should be in the running for best graphics of the year. Of course there are better looking games but I feel like most of them don't have as heavy of a workload as Destiny.
-
Agree
-
Oh absolutely. 2 things Destiny has always delivered well on-the environmental design and the music. Still can’t stop myself wailing along with the lil missy on Nessus! N the first time I did the corrupted strike-couldn’t help but stop n admire nearly everything-my poor fireteam. Well done to all involved.
-
And the music / composers. Great atmosphere and art..... Now what to do about shoulder charge and master works cores.
-
It does actually look incredible. Something about dreaming city makes it look so much better than every other location in the game
-
Art is gorgeous, music is soo fitting for such a mysterious and sacred place, LOVE IT! Plus it's the home of my Queen and her people so, there's the fangirl love, too.
-
Art team's the only one worth a hill of beans, it feels.
-
I love it too, though personally I adore the Tangled Shore’s look. It isn’t beautiful as such, but it does look awesome.
-
It’s alright, not what I imagined it to be.
-
Agreed!
-
I've been saying this about the whole dlc :) They did a wonderful job with the graphics and design for Dreaming City and Tangled Shore.
-
diagree, nothing special about the place...
-
Totally agree. Probs the coolest location in all of Destiny to date. I've been very impressed with the level of detail and the clear crafting that went into this location. I absolutely love that it seems so fleshed out - even patrols are given out by awoken instead of beacons! - and jam-packed full of secrets!
-
They have always done a beautiful job i.m.o. as many ppl at bungie do. I still think the fps mechanics r 2nd to none. I just wish they'd stop forcing us to play 1 way only & stop making progression so impossible for ppl who don't always want to do loads of pvp & whatever else they insist on to progress. I like having options without having the fun stomped out by staying at the same light for ages. Many ppl who r so upset by less than stellar changes completely appreciate the good stuff but r heartbroken the franchise they loved is more frustrating than fun. They want that love back & the desire to play the heck out of it. Soooo much potential. So much great work, often ruined by stupid decisions.
-
Do you honestly think they even get paid in the first place?
-
Most of the game looks quite good even on consol, but the dreaming city stands out well.
-
Indeed it is a very beautiful place. And now, with the curse taking over, it's awesome to see the contrast of the place with the taken orbs!
-
I love it dreaming city is very visually appealing. It has so many details and hidden secrets. Dreaming city truly is a master piece.
-
It's gorgeous

It's so rare to see posts that want to actually promote employees, I had to upvote this just for that sentiment. 99.9% of the posts you see on forums like these that involve the phrase "this employee" or "the team responsible for" seem to be followed quickly by the phrase "should be fired because feelings", lol. Assuming anyone from Bungie's dev team actually see this, I'm sure they appreciate the appreciation. XD
-
It is pretty cool.
-
Yeah fire the Coding team though because the Art directors don't deserve to work with a shit coder team.
-
When I went to the Dreaming City my first thought was 'Damn! How high were they when they designed this place!?' ;)
-
Well said, some people just have no idea about the hard work and incredible talent that goes into destiny. The game world is amazing, well done guys.
