The slow progress isn't due to infusion. The slow process has been from light level drops rarely being above your current one and if so they're only one or two levels higher. All the masterwork cores for infusion system has done is made the slow grind frustrating as we're "forced" into using badly rolled weapons simply for the light boost.

Well, maybe for you. For me, I have no problem getting gear higher than my current level to drop. The problem is I run out of resources to infuse because of how goddamn stingy the new economy is. For instance, I’m super low on glimmer, like, not even enough to infuse one item. So I went to Io (needed some phaseglass needles anyway, go figure) and did a public event. In fact, I soloed the heroic taken blight event, with a Rainmaker buff active. Glimmer? 430. Despite having a consumable active the sole purpose of which is maxing out glimmer drops, and soloing a heroic public event, I didn’t get even 500 glimmer. I get that infusion was too easy before, and the game was generally to generous with its resources, but the pendulum has swung way, way too far in the other direction.

I feel like 1 core for infusion would even fix the whole thing. Just for them to do SOMETHING would be great, honestly don't care what exactly it is. I'd just like to infuse things more than once a day.
