Game is crashing consistently after 2.0.3.0 Update
I've had D2 since it's PC launch and it's been rock solid up until this recent update of 2.0.3.0. Ever since I applied that update, I'm getting multiple game crashes in the span of about 1 to 2 hours. I haven't applied any windows updates, haven't updated my Nividia driver to the latest version.
Basically what's happening is i'll be playing and then all of a sudden the game will completely freeze, I'll get an buzzing audio sound out of the speakers/headphones, none of the keys work on my keyboard and then my PC will eventually reboot.
Like I said, this game was rock solid for me before 2.0.3.0 Update. Here's my info:
OS - Windows 10 64Bit Build 1803
GPU - Nvidia GTX 1080
GPU Driver - 399.07
First time posting for help on this forum so not sure what else I need to do/provide.

8 RepliesHello, and thank you for your report. Are you receiving any crash reports? They'd be located in a file somewhere similar to program files/Destiny 2/temp/crash_folder/pc_x64/crash_folder (random numbers)/crash_info.txt.

Having pretty much the same problem. Before 2.0.3., it was just crashes when loading a new map. Now it makes Gambit matches impossible for me (have yet to try anything else, because it's pretty much an endless cycle of spawning somewhere, crashing, waiting ages for the game to start again, rinse and repeat), because it crashes as soon as the second round begins (on any map, in any gambit match). Considering I need those matches to increase my power level, and to get some of the clan xp (binding clan xp to certain activities was also a pretty bullshit move, but that's not the main problem here), and considering it also happens during crucible matches (making iron banner bounties impossible to complete), the only option I have left is leaving the game again till this is fixed (which will probably take a few months, considering your track record so far, as well as this issue and the "problem reading game content" are not even in you known issues list, even though several people wrote about it in the past week). Please bungie, look into this. I've tried every possible "fix" so far (see the thread I posted about the "problem reading game content" error), nothing works. And I doubt it's my PC, because I've got no problems with other games, including some who are definitely more gpu, cpu or ram intensive.

Having the same issue.... found this, it is older but worth a try.
