Josh Hamrick provided additional details for how Sleeper will be tuned:
[quote]
As mentioned yesterday, our goal for Sleeper is to make it AN (awesome) option but not the only option. At this time we are committed to retaining Sleeper’s full power and will be tweaking its ease of use instead by reducing its generous Aim Assist values.
This means Sleeper will remain just as effective in PvE while requiring slightly more skill to use in PvP. Assuming you’re good enough to land your shots, you’ll see no difference in behavior.
We don’t expect drastic behaviorial differences from this change but we also don’t feel it’s that far off. We’d rather ease in tweaks like these.
We can always push on it more in the future if it’s still deemed necessary
Thank you.

I know lol...

This might actually be a fix for pve as well. I'm sick of lining up a shot on a boss only to have my sight ripped off by a trash mob running across my view.
-
Why didnt you buff the Edge Transit and it's drop rates? I dont have enough of those and, for real, they are weak as hell.
-
-
With a side of edge transit?
-
Well.... I'll be damned...... I'm good with that.
-
Can we at least have more Edge Transits please?
-
I must admit. That's the best we could have hoped for.
-
Ok. That's fine. But how about now you take the Invaders Wall Hack away after 3 seconds. Let them come over, quickly see where they need to go, and then that's it. Limits the hanging back and waiting for a shot tactic. Forces them to move more.
-
With that knowledge, wouldn't everyone just bait the invaders by changing directions after 3 seconds?
-
Great job Bungie 👍🏾 Don’t see how anyone could complain about this but they will anyway so who gives af

Good change. Doesn't compromise the identity of the gun, but asks for more from the user when it comes to aim, unless you play on PC. But then again PC is a small demographic of players and aim assistance matters very little so the only change that would work for PC is damage and that isn't gonna happen
-
I understand the conservative approach but my gut says that this won’t be enough. Thank you for at least leaving the subject open.
-
Nerf edge transit drops please not sleeper.
-
Thank you for separating. Now everyone’s happy. Bungie I’ve been very pleased with you guys and your game in the last few weeks. Thanks for quick communication and a great expansion so far. Keep up the good work.
-
Really don't see the need for a change but I play on pc so this doesn't afect me or the invader at all. Food for thought, decrease body damage and increase precision damage.
-
Lowering aim assistance angers the fewest people possible when it comes to altering guns. Lowering aim assistance will anger the fewest people cause it will still be meta on PC for sure but I would rather the smaller portion of my games demographic still be pissed than the entire demographic if I nerfed damage and ruined what the gun was and is supposed to be. Hopefully this fix works for PC as well though and everyone is happy
-
Yeah the problem is when that doesn't work, they will "tweak" something else and 5 tweaks later it's out of gambit and in your vault.
-
Don't see how it's going to affect pc users with such a change. Sleeper isn't really the meta here from what I personally see. Never got the queenbraker to drop but I've been killed by it and other heavy more. Guess we'll see how it works in the end.
-
Tweaking /Nerfing ... It’s all the same.
-
Just lock it out of Gambit, I'd rather that then "Tweaking" aka nerfing it.
-
This is the kind of change that should be fine. Doesn't hurt it's damage or anything. Just asks for more aim from the player
-
Right... Not gonna screw over the pve players? Ill believe it when i see it... 😑

Soooooo no herding of baboons and weasels?
