As an invader, you have to go 4v1 your job is to turn the tide of the battle for your team, an example, the other night I was invading and got 20+ kills and healed the enemy primeval for around 150% between both rounds, because of that my team was able to stage a comeback and win the game, a good invader is terrifying but a crappy one can lose your team the game, invading is fine.

Turn the tide: While your team is already winning, go in and troll with a sleeper. I love this thread -
See I’ve moved past sleeper, it’s all about that queenbreakers, I can’t wait till more people get it and realize it’s just as bad if not worse than sleeper.
-
Queensbreaker was always nasty because its aim assist was -blam!- in d1
-
It was great the first time I used it, invaded, teamwiped and then got another 2 before I got sent back, fell in love and haven’t used anything else for my power in gambit ever since, D1 I didn’t use it much because I didn’t get to fight skolas in year 1 and in year 2/3 my energy was usually spindle or 1000 yard stare till the wrath sniper came out
-
D1 I would always drop double and triple plays with it basically it the crosshairs were on them at any point it was charging u the aim assist killed them

Agree

Technically, the job of the invader is NOT to turn the tide. Their job is to steal motes and potentially heal the primeval - not single-handedly turn the tide. It's more of a impair or slow the enemy. The true-sight, in my opinion, is the reason certain weapons seem to be more effective than others (sleeper for example). End of the day though, I don't mind if they keep things the same or change them as I just play the game for fun and find it to be so as is.
-
I’m with you if they change something that’s fine, if they don’t that’s fine too, but there are a few aspects that need to be looked at for sure.
-
I personally would rather it not be weapons first though. Ultimately, said approach will always lead us down the never-ending nerf cycle.
-
Yeah whatever the change will be it’s gonna suck, but to be fair, people will always find something to complain about so no matter not everyone will win.
-
Sounds to me like the rest of your team wasn’t pulling their weight. Lol

They were fine, just had someone with us who didn’t play it before so took some time to get used to.
