Hey all,
We’re aware of reports that Sleeper Simulant feels strong in Gambit. The Sandbox team is currently looking at potential changes to help with this. We want to retain the strength of the weapon, but tune it so it doesn’t feel to be the only viable power weapon in this mode.
We’ll provide more details when possible. Stay tuned to official channels for updates.

Nerf the shit out of it lmao Every no talent will have to learn to shoot Auto lock on red painted pussies .
-
Same with snipers I'd just want them to actually get staggered when they get shot at when aiming down like double then usual
-
Thank you cozmo

Holy crap. When you have a problem with a game but you’re not sure if it’s real and Bungie basically validates it. 👍👍

6 RepliesIt's always the loudest voices that get everything nerfed. You listened to all the crybabies and look how year 1 turned out. Leave the game as it is. It's fun to use sleeper. And it's also fun to combat sleeper. If you want to keep us when red dead comes out, leave the game alone. The game is perfect right now.

Imo pulse rifle plus lord of wolves plus tarantula is better
-
It’s the catalyst that makes sleeper so viable right now. Low charge time makes for easy snipe. Most can’t get the catalyst as it is so just leave Sleeper alone because when a lot of people have one thousand voices the meta will change and sleeper will be forgotten.

Edited by SilentFight2411: 9/18/2018 4:29:19 AMLook at all these comments that are repeated in different ways & have been happening since Destiny 1. SEPARATE PvP & PvE weapon buffs/nerfs! You "are listening"? SHOW it! A LOT OF PLAYERS WANT separation of PvE & PvP!!!!

23 RepliesAs a possible fix, tweak the damage numbers. Maybe lower non-precision damage to the point of it not being a one-shot kill, and buff precision damage as recompense? Make it feel really, really like a sniping laser.
-
Masterwork cores being needed for infusion, please become aware of this issue. More masterwork cores needed to level gear yet not bothering to significantly increase the methods they can be obtained was a massive oversight.
-
I think the real way to fix the "sleeper simulant problem" in gambit is to take 1% away from our heavy ammo reserves for every edge transit you picked up.
-
I was really enjoying gambit when it first came out but the huge amounts of sleepers is out of hand. Ibhave played several games tonight doing bounties and they have been every where. Something has got to be done about it.

Edited by HeaDShoT: 9/18/2018 2:13:40 AMAll you cry babies won again. Is it too hard to take cover? To snipe or use the sleeper back to counter? Y’all are pathetic and literally ruined a perfectly good exotic with the “let us Cater to your inability to adapt and play” attitude. I don’t even use it in gambit and don’t see any issue with how it operates. Watch these same people will be asking for a buff when they make into the raid when using the spit balls they will nerf it too.
-
4 RepliesPlease become unaware that it feels that way. The games are awesome the way they are. They are fun, and the tide can turn quickly. Yes your win can be stolen from you late in the game in a flash of laser light. It’s frustrating, (makes you want to throw your controller frustrating) and at the same time it is so perfect. Please don’t change. Rather than nerf power here are a few ideas: Maybe just have the portal strip a little heavy from the invader. The price you pay to jump over. Or Heavy costs motes, for those invaders that love to jump over with motes (and lose them), that is the price for keeping your heavy ammo. 5 motes a shot, or something like that. Do I bank or do I go over there with some heavy? Or Buff an invaded team as each guardian is killed, like crimson doubles, so they can take a sleeper shot.

2 RepliesNo heavy ammo while invading, but invaders health is increased. Solved
-
Yo nothing needs to be changed.

Edited by STEVE NEUROTIC: 9/18/2018 3:45:40 AMThis shit again?!!! One of the reasons I and many others left D2 for 6+ months and only came back recently. Anyone can get the f—king Sleeper. It isn’t a hard quest. It takes a little time but no skill to get it. Stop catering to these whiney bitches. I have played a good amount of gambit and I’m pretty bad at it and always get killed by invaders. But I don’t ever once remember getting killed by sleeper. And if I did, I have the weapon so it’d be my fault for not trying it to counter. In other words... Leave the F—king weapon alone !!!!!!!!

Please don't start this
-
PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS REQUEST!!! DON'T TOUCH IT EXCEPT FOR HOW MUCH AMMO IT GETS FROM AMMO DROPS.... PEOPLE WILL USE IT LESS IF IT ONLY GETS TWO SHOTS INSTEAD OF FOUR in Gambit only and it won't ruin gun for rest of PVE and PVP activities..... It's a great gun as is just Gambit made it extremely valuable
-
Please no
-
Please don't F this up anyone can acquire that weapon, this isn't a RnG thing like Ghally. Some of us actually use it to quickly get multipliers and melt the Prime.
-
Lose power ammo upon death. Problem solved.

I can't say anything for or against it. On one hand, I feel that Sleeper Simulant is in a great place and has the power it deserves with numerous valid counter options and plenty of downsides. On the other, getting mapped every time by Sleeper is, and will always be, somewhat annoying.

My Question? what is going to be the next weapon in Line to replace the "Stop This OP enter Weapon Name here" people are way too casual with the word "Nerf" - we do not want that, what we would like is for the DPS to stay the same across the board. changes that might be useful? when invading - your ammo available on heavy is reduced by 50% when you invade. when invaded - Radar should indicate the general location of the invader when the invader is not moving. or: - seeing that the invaders get an over shield as it is, why don't you just lock the exotics every time you go and invade? and it unlocks when your back? or HELL! give us weird scorch cannons to invade with!
