My clanmate had this issue. We completed it together. I had quest progression completed and was able to claim reward. She, however, was unable to claim the quest and had the escapee eliminated checkbox unchecked. No reward for her. Made her fireteam leader and deleted, repurchased the quest but still unable to activate the activity as it did not show on Mercury.

I have this issue as well. Played with a friend and he had bounty complete, now I have the bounty sitting there but it isn't showing up on Mercury. I could open the cache chest, but the bounty is still incomplete. No powerful gear received. Wondering if it's a fireteam leader issue? Edit: just became fireteam leader, went to orbit, deleted bounty, went and purchased it again and it's still not showing up. Even went into the area and just getting low level vex.

Start from orbit, and you will receive loot once you complete it.
