These 2 things make NO SENSE AT ALL!

Why on earth would you NOT take away their ill gotten gains? You are sending a message that it's perfectly A-ok to cheat and nothing will happen. The rewards are for the raid, the raid isn't out... so the rewards should [b]ABSOLUTELY[/b] be rescinded!

Again... WTF? So players DIDN'T get an extra powerful engram by re-doing challenges last week and yet they WON'T be getting a reset? How on Earth can you guys at Bungie justify this?
In summary, cheating is perfectly ok ... no problem, keep those rewards you shouldn't have and hey, we messed up the whole reset thing so we're going to punish you players further by withholding progression by NOT giving you the proper reset.
Seriously, this is like a big middle finger from Bungie to its player base... I would say "unbelievable" but frankly, this kind of sh*t seems status quo these days 😡

Even with the reset, what powerful engrams you can get are not dropping powerful. Items are poofing into oblivion after being rewarded and inventory not full. Postmaster is not fixed. Old and new quests and bounties are more broken. The game is worse this week than it was last week. 😖

The lack of a reset this week is the work of a bug, not Bungie punishing anyone.

First of all it’s unright to teal gear from players. Secondly, they glitches through, they didn’t cheat, it’s up to Bungie to fix their game Third and lastly, you act like having that ONE raid weapon will botch worlds first

I didn’t do the raid exploit. But I’m just here to say that it wasn’t cheating. They got there via platforming. Not any kind of third party thing to make it happen. Bungie screwed up the map design. That’s all there is to it

As I've said to many others, it's not cheating for the glitch. Bungie themselves dont consider it a cheat unless third party programs are used. I would be perfectly fine if they had rescinded the gear as well. I'd live without my one piece until I got it again. Now before ya get your pitch fork out realize nearly every player was -blam!-ed out of their reset, which yes is bad, but realize its week 1. There are gonna be some bugs, its not the end of the world.

don't forget that the prime engram farm will help them now, get entry into the raid and provide easier ability to complete, which in turn provides better opportunity for worlds first.. not a huge issue but, still.. the benefits allow gamit and any power level activated situation, especially when playing against other players, a huge advantage. they can then advance in these modes faster obtain other items faster all on the benefit of glitching now.. at the cost of what.. future potential lack of progression.. seems like a good trade off honestly. At some point prime engrams arn't going to be as important as right now.

This is where you're wrong. The players that found the exploit did NOT cheat. They used a mistake that Bungie made against Bungie, but that's not cheating. They did not break the rules of the game, they found a place that very few knew about and used it. For the record, I did NOT use the exploit, as I don't intend to do the raid. Haven't done one yet, because I don't have a fireteam. So this means I am mostly unbiased here. Is it unfair? Yes. Someone found something you didn't and used it. Boo hoo. As for the Milestone reset, that IS complete BS. This is Bungie punishing players for something the players have no control over. THAT I will stand behind you with.

Watch out now. All of the Bungie apologists are going to come on here now and call you an entitled child. I didn’t do the chest glitch. It looked like a whole lot of effort to run around with a gun or armor that let everybody else know you could jump through the map. But I did play with a friend over the weekend to help them progress through the story and do their weekly challenges. In the process I completed them for a second time. Now this week my main won’t get those powerful drops (they would have probably been grenade launchers anyway). The difference here is that it was Bungie’s pet streamers that were able to make videos for the rest of the no lifers in their parents’ basements when they showed how to get to the raid chest. Bungie is never going to punish them. It would be a simple fix. Any raid gear in the wild prior to the raid release gets deleted. Problem solved. Anybody who has one will have to go back and get it normally. Let everybody get a full weekly reset. Especially since when the problem was first observed the response was to go ahead and complete the activities again. It wasn’t supposed to have an impact.

I agree man. If they couldn't fix it by reset today, they should have froze the milestones or patched the drops to be less than power level drops. The issue is, this ruins first raid completions because a lot of people will now be a week behind others. This is just such a slap in the face. How can you reward cheating but punish people legitimately playing the game lol.

I heard if you deleted a character it reset the chest on your whole account. A player obtained every item in the raid this way. it seems Bungie was giving people a choice that severely abused The Raid chest. I'm guessing delete the items or a lengthy ban

There is no reason to do the raid now because everything is leaked. In case everyone is doing the raid only go after sniper rifle and the boss room looks nice.
