In the quest for Luna's Howl, do you have to actually be Fabled rank when you are at that point in the quest or do you just have to have reached Fabled?
For example, if I just grind out Competitive wins and hit Fabled, then do all the hand cannon work and go on a constant losing streak, I'll obviously drop below Fabled rank. Once I get to the point of the quest where it requires a rank of Fabled, will it automatically pass that part (since I've already reached Fabled and fell below) or will it require my current rank to be Fabled?
EDIT: it appears to be the case that, as long as you complete the quest within the same season as hitting Fabled, you’re good to go. The Bungie API only tracks your highest rank (this is why you don’t get multiple rank up packages going from Brave to Heroic, back to Brave, to Heroic again, etc.). As a result, the quest is auto-completed if you hit Fabled and drop back to Heroic. The same will be true for the Not Forgotten -as long as you finish within the same season, it doesn’t matter what you drop back to again.

7 RepliesAlright this is kind of a dumb question but is it possible for you to hit fabled on another character with the Luna’s quest active on your main. Do all of your characters share the same glory rank?
