“[A] gentle place ringed in spears. But I do not think those spears will hold against the queen of the country of armies. And that is all that will matter in the end.”

I've always loved Toland's musings. That's my second favorite Destiny quote. Thanks for reading!

No problem. I enjoy reading your story. I do love Toland’s musings. What’s your favorite Destiny quote?

"I am noble too, Oh Lord of Wolves. Starlight was my mother, and my father was the dark." -Mara Sov That, coupled with the corresponding scene, is just one of the most epic moments in the grimoire...and I've always loved the Awoken.

Good choice. I love the Fallen and the Awoken.

Edited by AggressiveBacon: 8/24/2018 12:56:52 AMMy favorites are: The Awoken (they're immortal space Elves, what more can you ask?) Fallen (for the culture) And Hive (history and architecture) I would really love to incorporate these into my stories more, but most of those connections are difficult to draw without major implications, especially in a Dark Age setting. As far as the Fallen go, I don't think that the Warlords had many dealings with any house other than the Devils, at least not in the Old Russia area.
