I would rather do 100 patrol missions than play one match of crucible
Crucible is SO MUCH TRASH! I haven’t met one person who says “oh boy I can’t wait to play crucible tonight” NO ONE LIKES IT!!!! So please don’t involve any PvP BS in any way to level up!!! Or for any exotic quests!!! NO ONE LIKES TO PLAY CRUCIBLE BECAUSE ITS GARBAGE!!! I would rather collect materials (ironic haha) than play this trash called crucible.

I wouldn't say Crucible sucks. it's just an aspect of the game I don't enjoy. It's irritating to have to do something that is not fun in order to level up. So, for me Solstice is a no go situation and as a result I get left behind. The Clan of the Bleeding Hemorrhoids at Bungie just don't care. Later.

I am definitely a pve player but time wise one crucible match would be waaaaay shorter.

This is ur REAL crucible crybaby that these unintelligent forum knights talk about. They're mainly pve mains No offense to OP, to each their own I'm honestly astounded by the sheer idiocy that some posts or replies reference to Most of this current community can't even figure out how the mechanics work or improve after at least dozens of hours of gameplay.... Let alone hundreds or thousands Pvp has the garbage that flip the spawns and players who feel they're equal to others in reaction time, game sense, aiming, or craftiness. Pve mainly just has the solo situation and weapon behavior; damage has been tweaked separately yet bungie leads are the main perpetrators to major changes in damage output without community feedback The problem comes from their own camps blaming the incompetence on display towards that mode

With the targeted 50/50 win loss ratio, that would suggest you do 1000 patrols for the armour upgrade. I'd be down with that.

There are times I enjoy and times I don’t - like anything depends on mood and whether you do well or not. If you have a run of bad games it will make it horrible and potentially put you off for a long time. Same with PVE - times I really enjoy and others when it continually infuriated as the game just seems to not want to allow me to complete something - know that’s not true but it’s what you end up saying to yourself 🤣

It's a pile of crap, I won't be completing solstice on any characters because of the PvP elements, I simply don't enjoy it, therefore it not a valuable use of time.

I can understand this point of view. If anything i’d Like to see quest steps give options like do such and such in PvP or such and such in PvE. This way people can achieve things the way they enjoy rather than be forced to play a mode they don’t enjoy. That being said, I still think there should be rare weapons/gear tied separately to PvE and PvP. The solstice gear is a prime example. They should have had a set of gear you could earn purely via PvE and different ornament sets you could unlock via PvP or PvE.

Id rather shove nails into my eyeballs and then dunk my head into a pool of gasoline, and then throw a match into said pool. Thats why I usually skip that milestone. Just dont play it? Thats what I do.

A lot of people would say the exact same thing for the legend of acrius. PvE is incredibly boring to a lot of people including me. I have the Acrius but I hated the entire quest line for it.

I mean it’s a part of the game and you’re doing the moments of triumphs to commemorate everything year 1. That’s the point. There’s no super farming or grind heavy thing either. 10 kills, 30 super kills, 5 wins. Running the redux missions once solo probably takes longer than all those crucible things combined solo. It’s really not bad. They could have had a competitive or trials thing but they didn’t. The masterwork is a little much BUT they have 2 double valor weekends and 1 triple AND you can still get it masterworks after the event ends. My only complaint is that I wish like they kept pieces themed and you could upgrade them individually. Like helmet was raid (calus, Argos, val), gauntlets we’re crucible related, chest patrol... etc. that way even if you didn’t want to do part of the game you’d still have something to show.

I enjoy pvp. Granted the beginning of d2 pvp was a disaster but it's improved and I think it will continue to do so. I'm also pretty excited for gambit.
