Subclasses in Forsaken
Hello Guardians,
With the Forsaken Launch being close, what are your favourite new subclasses and why?
Are you excited for how they'll affect PvP or PvE?
Personally im super excited for the new Striker and the one hit kill shoulder charges. Finally a good reason to play Titan in the crucible. Also since the last perk of the new skill trees is the one that changes our supers i hope we can choose whether to unlock it or not ( like Gunslinger's top tree ) so that Sunbreakers keep their throwing hammers instead of getting the big hammer cause honestly for PvP i dont see it being so good. But the neutral of the new sunbreaker seems very good.
Apart from Titans, the new Nightstalker and Voidwalker seem very powerful for PvP. Nightstalker with Wish Ender = Wall hacks for days. Voidwalker seems to have a long range melee ability and roaming super nova explosions? Looks good.
Whats you guys' opinions?

3 RepliesNew hunter subclasses will suck in pve but dominate pvp. Warlock will be good for both despite how their jumps suck. Titans void class will suck for pvp and most likely be only usefull during a some raid encounters. Rest of titans super are pretty good for both pve and pvp

As a warlock fanboy, Attunement of Fission made me have a nerd boner seeing what the super does in action and what it's perks do. Titan being my second favorite, Code of the Devastator I think it was, the ban hammer titan looks crazy fun. My least favorite, the Hunters Way of the Wraith, that alone will give me a reason to play my Hunter more than I normally did back in D1 and in D2

Honestly the new Titan Arc super reminds me of Zac from League of Legends lol. Throwing himself into battle and slapping enemies up seems kinda fun haha.

I want to see new exotics that amplify our super and abilities like double smokes, improved swarm grenades, improve sprints speed after a sword kill, golden kills cause solar explosion, damage to your barricade recharge all your abilities including super, a support melee where nearby team mate get a over sheild. Stuff like that

3 RepliesThe new Warlock Big Rift subclass looks shite, unless it has the defenses of Ward of Dawn AND extra healing (because you're in the open unlike WoD) im completley boycotting it, ive even made it a small meme for my channel, like how lazy can they get, ill be using Roaming Nova for days

I'll have an educated opinion a couple weeks after Forsaken drops. I figure I'll make the decision to purchase/skip around 9-11 (unfortunate anniversary, but just a coincidence).

2 RepliesI'm excited for everything Warlock and the multiuse capability for most grenades and melees. I just hope the "old" subclasses get some flair like that. For one, the old ones as useful as they may stay, won't have many tricks up the sleeve. And second, having multi-option grenade and melee helps to give the "spell caster" space wizard vibe. Although, as much as I'm biased to Warlock, I hope for buffs to the other classes current subs. I know some generic buffs were mentioned (bubble buff, instant tethering, longer GG) but we'll have to wait a bit longer to see what all they will or won't do.

Press for regular super, hold for the new one.

It won't be like Sunsinger, but I'm looking forward to the new Dawnblade abilities. I miss being more of a support for my team, so I hope that I'll be able to go back to that subclass after the flaming swords ruined it for me.

The neutral game looks great, but I don’t know yet if I’m entirely on board with the super. It depends on the damage and radius of the explosions. So I’m just going to not upgrade that perk, and I’ll keep the normal Nova Bomb (same thing I did for Cataclysm on Attunement of Chaos) but I’ll be able to use the other abilities.
