What about the Iron Lords culture just in general, with the axe, snowy mountain theme and the horned Titan IB ornament? Feels viking-ish. Just throwing it out there.

The Iron lords, at least whit in destiny are treated as equivalent to king Arthur and the knights of the round table, Radagast being Arthur in this picture, if i do recall correctly memory of Radagast (D1 artifact) made such a comparison, there's also other nods in lore, i think also Timur or Silimar (don't remember which one) was referenced as Merlin, although the remark is reasonable due to the wolf thematic.

The base armor is modeled after the Japanese shogunate. The 1st ornament set is Japanese again, but this time modeled after the samurai The 2nd ornament set is inspired by European knights

Makes you wonder what season 4 ornaments are going to look like, if it will continue with European knights or show something new and interesting, Aztec themed or something like that

Whilst that is true, I would’ve compared the iron lords to the knights of old. Specifically looking at the knights code. Although I can see where you’re coming from. Except the fact that vilkings didn’t have horned helmets.

Yeah I understand the historical aspect; it’s just a stereotype reference.

I would say ib s1 armor and s2 ornament represent japan at least the hunter set does and the s3 is knights of old
-
The high up Vikings did tho
