Well... I was gonna come back to Destiny 2 for the Solstice of Heroes event...

But then an old Army buddy of mine gifted me a copy of Fortnite Standard Founder's Edition so I could play the Save The World campaign. I haven't put it down since I got it. I already stopped playing Destiny 2 for the most part because Curse of Osiris was trash. Warmind brought me back for awhile. But STW might be the final nail in the Destiny 2 coffin for me. I played the first two days of the Solstice of Heroes event. Haven't touched D2 since. And I'm still not convinced about buying the Forsaken expansion anyways. Fortnite is a double threat. Both Save The World and Battle Royale are fun and addictive. I could play for hours. D2 barely keeps my attention for a strike or two. Not to mention there are other games about to release that I'm more excited about like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Fallout 76. Sorry Bungie, you're out.

I have to wonder, do all these quitting posters get some kind of primitive, cheap thrill over doing a perceived taboo? Because I see all the various quitting posts over the years and I question, what is the POINT in posting you're going to stop playing a game? Just stop playing if you're going to stop. You don't need validation or the acceptance of others for that.
