Destiny Down Under Podcast #CommunityFocus

I am one of the many Destiny tragics who live in the land Down Under who have been along with Bungie on this ol' Destiny ride since Day 1 For nearly as long as I can remember the chaps (I use the term caps loosely to give them the appearance of civility and deceny) have been a voice...a very Australian voice...for our Destiny community in the Southern Hemisphere. The Pod is very Aussie: a bit loose and possibly alcohol fuelled, but also extremely informative (especially when Loremaster MyelinGames gets rolling) , extremely frank and honest. Also with the addition of Man-at-Arms weapon reviews it may be the funniest Destiny pod out there. Log is the consummate front man...kind of like Bruce Dickisnon from Iron Maiden, but without the stagecraft...or pipes...actually he is nothing like him. Then we have grumpy Pod Dad, Sloth. As an older gamer, with not a lot of time for rubbish, he is my low key favourite. Myelin is just flat out a Lore savant. These guys have galivinsed the community down here, and not just when things were all Gjallahorns and Icebreakers. They have stuck thick when times were rough in the game and kept the community focussed on the long game. It is a team who clearly love the game and it come across with their interviews of Slayerage, Moonvlald and Swainstache. Saturday 2pm Australian Eastern Standard Time is when many Aussie and Kiwi Guardians down tools, grab a frothy (Aussie for beer) and tune in to DDU. Couldn't recommend these guys enough for a Community Focus in the TWAB

  • I started watching the DDU after watching a Myelingames YouTube lore vid. I was hooked immediately. They are great, informative and hilarious at the same time. I have a lot of respect for all 3. I’ve watched every episode and try and catch them live whenever I can. Even had a chat with them a few times as they are extremely down to earth and often focus on questions from the group watching. They do a great job of involving there audience doesn’t matter if you’ve been there since episode 1 or 5 min into the cast for the first time. Best of all NO SPOILERS lol. Keep up the good work guys!!!
