Which version, the one with the flat rate, the one with the cumulative rate, or the one with the invisible timer?

Base 10% with 10% added after each consecutive boss, not that it matters. The point being Bungle clearly knows how to use cumulative probability systems and has implemented them in the past. But you knew that, you just love to troll, quibble, and deliberately miss the point. Now you'll waste your breath on some reply I will never read, which will be instantly downvoted to zero, where it will stay. You now you have to. Prove me right.

  • Why even bother trying to reason with someone who's not interested in logic? If you do decide to read this far despite your admitting to being happy in your bubble of misinformation, go and look up The Gambler's Fallacy.

You really are deliberately dense. I am well aware of the gambler's fallacy, as well as how each roll of the dice is a stochastic instance. The whole point of the use of a cumulative probability system such as that used in 3oC is that when you reach your tenth roll your odds of a favorable outcome have become 100%. Are you really so dumb that you think the gambler's fallacy applies when the odds of winning are 100%? You dare condescend to people about a disinterest in logic and a bubble of misinformation when you're too stupid to understand the topic, the point, and the entire discussion? No one said the odds are naturally cumulative. We understand each spin of the RNG is a stochastic instance uninfluenced by previous spins and having no effect on future spins. The point is to apply a system that ARTIFICIALLY compounds the odds with each spin so that the desired outcome is eventually guaranteed, as it was with ToC at their best, which is why they were brought up in the discussion. You are thick as a brick.

  • When did I ever question cumulative probability? You decided to interject yourself into this conversation and bring up the topic yourself. You're inventing your own argument here...

I'm just going by what he and you have written here, and you questioned fixthelag's suggestetion of introducing cumulative probability in your very first statement. And if you're not arguing with me, then why in the hell was my point about ToC's met with insults to my intelligence and an idiotic and irrelevant retort of the gambler's fallacy?

  • Because FixTheLag's comment wasn't about 3oCs. It was about the cumulative possibility of so many Cabal events in a row. And who met who with insults? You were the one who accused me of being a troll, etc. You openly said you weren't willing to reason. How do you expect someone to reply to that? The point of the Gambler's Fallacy was because I thought you were backing up FixTheLag's point about cumulative probability in that after 15+ cabal events it's so unlikely that there'd be another cabal event and that it's statistically likely that the next event would be a Blight. Gambler's Fallacy by definition. Clearly, you entered this conversation thinking it was about something entirely different to begin with. Not only that, but you made it clear right from the start that you weren't open to even knowing what it was about. Keep in mind that my very first reply to you was one of genuine inquisitiveness. I was curious to know where you were going with your point of the 3oC and how it fit in with topic we were discussing, and instead of getting a response in return I was accused of trolling, quibbling, and 'missing the point'. You might want to re-read this conversation with a more open mind than you began it with.

Didn't read it. Like I said, I only went by what was written here. If you want to try to rationalize your jackass comments HERE, go right ahead. It's still not going to change how the comments you made in response to me re-affirmed my inference and youtr bullshit statements about what I was saying. Bored with your rude, ignorant ass.

  • Hey fam, don't worry about this dude. He is either the greatest troll to ever exist or the densest person on the forums. I'm not sure which but I had a 50 post conversation with him last cabalpocalypse and couldn't get through. He isn't worth your time and I appreciate your support, it's frustrating encountering people like this

  • I understand the frustration of trying to explain probability and statistics to someone who doesn't know, or isn't willing to learn, about either. I feel you, bro.

  • Yeah I'm done with his dumb ass. He's too stupid to understand what people understand even when they demonstrate a stronger knowledge than he has. Here's to hoping his hovel is overrun with thousands of cane toads and he goes mad from the insomnia caused by the cacophony of their incessant bleurping. It seems he's already halfway to the Hatter.

  • Are you still talking? There seems to be a general consensus here that you're an asshat troll whose life consists of going back and forth like this fifty times per encounter. No more time will be wasted on you. Go ahead with your obligatory reply destined to go unread. You know that your pathetic life absolutely positively demands it. Prove me right. AGAIN.
