The psions are like Roman auxilliae, non-citizens who chose to fight for the Empire. A typical reward was Roman citizenship for the auxiliary and his family (so his sons could be legionaires). It's possible that the psions enjoy higher status in the Empire because of this.

<One of Calus's conspirators was a Freeborn Psion who thought Calus trying to free them would endanger her position. I guess she did enjoy that higher status.>

I wish they had more races of aliens in their Auxillary forces, other than just psions. Be a good way to introduce new enemies.

I seen some concept art of Rhino bi-pedal alien with some kind of warhammer, that chris barrett shared, be a sweet addition to their ranks. Cant wait to see what these Scorn are about.
