About Local Chat not being on automatically. (In regards to Heroic Public Events)

I know this subject has been beaten to death by now, but I'm still super annoyed that you have to opt into Local Chat. The reason I say this is because in public events some people I am with still don't even know that heroic events exist and just shoot all the enemy's. This is specifically true with Taken Blights mission. All's I can do is run up to them shake my head with my mouse and shoot at them, then they destroy the blight. I do understand that its not very noticeable, I have missed friends invitations to Raids with In-Game Chat because I wasn't paying attention, but the slight chance there is to getting information across to someone who is doing the exact opposite of what you are suppose to be doing (not shooting small servitors, not shooting the vents, not shooting the ship etc...). I also understand that sometimes people don't wan't to do heroic, even if it does take 5 seconds longer to do. You gotta be honest here, Bungie didn't do an amazing job showing that there was such a thing as heroic events in the beginning, we had to figure it out for ourselves which is fine, but there is a large majority of people who still have no idea what to do. Sorry that this was more of a rant about people not knowing public events but I needed to get a point across. To fix this I would suggest opening Local chat to everyone and make you opt out instead of opt in, or we will have to bash our heads against our keyboards when 3 people have no idea how to start the heroic and kill the enemy's before we can destroy the ether extractor. P.S. this is my first post on the forums so sorry if I put this post in the wrong category.
