Dear Guardian, There are no reported issues regarding the anomaly on Io according to Bungie's twitter feed. Public Events are set at certain intervals with random choices of each public event that can vary based on server. Your best bet is to log out of Destiny 2, clear your console cache, and log back in to attempt to find a new server with a higher chance of the taken anomaly. Again, this is a random chance encounter and you can get any one of the three taken aspects. The Taken Aspect of Hate will spawn at the far side of the public space near the strange device up on the wall. The Aspect of Darkness will spawn near the anomaly location underneath the rock. The Aspect of War will spawn under the tree near one of the public event markers on the far right. Whichever aspect spawns, you will need to kill quickly or they will retreat and you will have to wait for your next chance. This window can take hours to open so it is just a waiting game.
