Well this has to change bungo , still waiting on that blight public event and its been more than an Hour.
Got the cabal public event 6 times in a row??? u kidding me. Why can't we trigger the event some other way???

4 RepliesTime-gated events have always been a thing, I just don't get how some act like its a new thing. What this tells me is, you have either done everything in this game or close to it and there is not much for you to do as far as playtime keeping your interest. Of course, this is just an opinion, but it also tells me that Bungie needs to step up their game big time. This wait for the next DLC just to add certain things is getting really old. The lack of events in this game is an issue if you play this game every day most of the day. For casual gamers or people that don't have that kind of time, it makes a big difference. So, IMO this is where Bungie needs to start focusing on learning how to come to some form of a happy medium.

I agree with everyone one the blight public event taking to long to trigger, however i will say I really did enjoy the Whisper of Worm Mission and the jumping puzzle it gave me real Vault of glass Vibes mysterus with hiddin areas and puzzles i really hope bungie do another raid like the vault of glass

1 ReplyThis can't be a surprise to anyone. D2 has been all about this. They come up with something that could potentially be fun and exciting and ruin it. There is no way they haven't nerfed the spawn time of this PE.

2 RepliesGuys, I know what happened. So there are guys that work at Bungie, that control the public events by sitting at a computer and push a button to initialize a certain event. Well the guy that is in charge of Io got a Burrito from Taco Bell which we can all agree, is regretting right now. So before he went to practice the religion of porcelain, he taped down the button labeled, "Cabal again, with that blasted, rock-shaking, concentration-shattering machinery!" Now, we have only those events. Mysterious radar cats notified me of this info, I hope this reaches the Nine.

4 RepliesAre you guys doing the events? or just standing there letting them end and waiting for the blight one? could be you actually need to complete the events for the script to RNG a new event which yes could end up with a cabal but if you keep completing them then you will get a blight. Only asking as I noticed that nobody was doing the events in my instance and was just standing near where the portal spawns.

2 RepliesJust out of curiosity has anyone tried a taken blight pe at another location on Io? It seems possible that it could work. The gateway wouldn’t necessarily have to be in the oasis to take you there. Just a random thought.

1 ReplyI'm with you, since about 5pm EST my fireteam was on IO. Several times we turned off Destiny, even tried splitting up individually to hit different servers and communicated through party chat. In that time not a single Bilght public events spawned. Yet several hours before and after reset in the day I had no issue with the spawn time. In fact it seemed a new event spawned every 5 to 8 minutes. There were even a few times that as I came out of the quest that a portal was already open and available for me to jump into. So what happened that changed?

2 RepliesThere are long pauses where I feel like a PE should be spawning but it skips right over it. The Blight has without a doubt been disabled.
