And average k/d 3+.
I just ask myself, how this is possible in 6 vs 6. Are you invisible? Do all bullets, supers, rockets, etc miss you?
Or are you simply a second or two ahead of everybody else, because of latency/ damage referee?
Stupid peer-to-peer!

Map awareness, teammate awareness and actually being able to win your engagements. Not everything is reduced to “bro, he’s cheating or lag switching” or terrible connections. I have a 2.07 KD and it keeps going up because I’m improving. Watch replays.

Lag switch.

On my warlock I have a 1.6 kd I just know when to challenge when to know if I'm losing a fight and back off. But for your question sometimes other people just miss important shots leave heavy unguarded or miss with power or the most common tunnel vision.

My KD is around 1.1, I guess I suck. I have matches where I have a KD of something crazy like 9 or 11, but that doesn't happen that often and it's only when I'm matched against people that are much lower skill than me. I have a lot matches that my kd is around .5 or it's 3+. But I have no idea how people keep a kd of 2+. So many matches I have a 60 to 70% chance at losing, it's crazy sometimes. Clearly, they need to put a little more thought into how they match people up. I have periods where I lose 18 out of 19 matches, when I look at the states the matches were stacked against me.

Most ppl I encounter with a 2.5 or higher k/d, I simply say to myself, GL hitting them, even when I get the drop on them. It's for this reason that I don't think there are but a handful of players that truly have those great stats due to skill, the rest are a lag issue.

If I only had a nickle for every time I got sniped in the head (D1) while strafing and spraying bullets in someone's face. Latency advantage was all you needed in D1 to do well with a sniper rifle. In D2, being on the wrong side of latency makes GL, VW and sub machine guns nearly impossible to deal with. At least in D1, good awareness and anticipation somewhat gave you a decent chance regardless. In D2 you just have to pray that the force is with you instead of them. I can't even feel all that great about having a good game or making a big play because in the back of my mind I'm wondering if my opponent is dealing with the same shit that sometimes happens to me. But good luck finding very many people that will admit to even the slightest possibility of ever having any kind of advantage. Fragile egos and shallow thought. If it doesn't happen to them or if they're simply unaware when it does, then "it just doesn't happen at all". Also, it's really weird because sometimes I can play D2 for a week or two with minimal issues. Then all of a sudden it just becomes unplayable as if someone just said "Nope, we don't want you having fun anymore, you aren't worthy. Time to flip the switch". So strange.

Edited by NYC_InfamousNick: 7/20/2018 4:44:13 AMWell I mean, people get matchmade against others who are not as good as them. I've had games where I go off and go unbroken with 25+ kills. I've also had games where I felt like dying by the end because my team got crushed beyond recognition. Sometimes is has to do with latency or connection and sometimes it doesn't, but there are those who do DDoS. But that's restricted to Trials as far as I've personally experienced.

My connection is fine. Recently I have been stomping in quick play with the trip mine exotic buff in 6v6. I think it might just be you
