You know bungie in all your wisdom you suck at your job.
Let me be frank this is not a hate post but an open your eyes post.
Me and a friend are sitting on eater of world's and we just reached the other side of the reactor without raising the those stupid platforms.
But we can't continue on the raid lair.
Bow I see why it's the mechanic of the raid but it shouldn't be necessary.
Your solo players or even two man teams can make your game look like a joke.
Your solo players are the ones that make this game great not your damn teams.
Stop listening to the wrong people and make your game solo play.

To all the condescending fools who rush in head first without even asking what do you exactly mean behind your post or don't even think to ask elaborate on what is being said let me educate you alittle.
I have solutions for a great deal of many things and I have a solution for what I mean behind this.
You can back it if you want but I highly doubt anyone will and will probably keep being the two brain cell roll they are and make some shitty attempt of insulting me.
Hopefully with me pissing enough of you off this post will get taken down which wont bother me anyways.
But anyways what I mean behind my post is that if the game was designed right that if you go into the game with just two people the game would act appropriately and make the game more challenging while also being able to complete it.
Say two manning a raid or even one manning a raid the game will add objectives that must be completed that will slowly open the way for you.
Say going into a raid one manning it the game will read that you are missing the five other people it would take to complete the raid and be like ok you can still do this but first you have to complete extra objectives to do so making it more challenging to complete but you will still be able to finish.
And so on.
If you go into the raid 5 or 6 manning the game won't change but anything lower the game will start to change.
I'm not asking for anything to be removed I'm still asking for solo play to be the part it always was for the game.
Having to relia on other people to be on or to play with should never be an issue with a game you should be able to jump on an play not wait for others to be on so you can do something.
The best example I can give is if you have the means to do so are you going to wait for the cops to eventually show up at your house to deal with a burglar or a murder or are you going to grow a pair be a man a kick some ass or shoot someone for being in your house.
If you ask me I'm going to shoot who ever decided today was a good day to be stupid.

4 RepliesThere is no such thing as a solo raid dummy. The actual definition of raid - an attack by a small force, which is why it’s called a raid in video games, it’s multiplayer content. I can’t imagine going through life with the mentality some of you have. Expecting life to adjust to you. It’s an online multiplayer social game man. I mean do you go to a job interview and hand the interviewer the questions you want to be asked, because you sound that silly. Play a different game.

5 RepliesHere's the thing about raids and destiny itself it is a game designed to be played with a team I'm sorry you dislike that fact but that's the fact if it was meant to be played solo you wouldn't need to be online to play it. Furthermore raids are classically a large team thing. In games like wow and EverQuest the raids require entire guilds of people up into the double and triple digits sometimes. To ask for a solo option in a game and game mode designed to be a team activity is to ask for destiny to go against what it's meant to be. If you need a team there are lfg sites for you to find a team many people are doing the raid and many people in the destiny community are willing to help new people to the raid you just have to put a little effort in and lfg. Now this will probably get some comments from you stating things like I'm not smart ,a game shouldn't force you to play with a team and all other manner of half thought out insults to my intelligence, gaming prowess, probably something about my social habits too, but the fact of the matter is I've completed all the raids in d1 and d2 and I helped Sherpa many people through vog and kingsfall and that is how I found my clan so I don't have to lfg or wait on anyone cause we have a set raid night. Put in the work and you won't need to lfg for long because eventually you'll have a group of friends to raid with. Tldr: destiny is a multiplayer game meaning it is designed to have multiple people in your team and a raid which is the hardest pve activity in the game should personify what the game stands for and that's teamwork and cooperation thus why you have to have a team

I have seen a few games out there with raids that have a que system for solo players to get into raids and from there communication is key. I really don't understand why people ask for solo play content in a MMO game when the game was made for groups bugie wanted people to work together from day one on these awesome and challenging raid's.

3 RepliesI can partially see your point, if I look past all the juvenile trash talk you spew. The issue with making raids solo capable (I do try to solo team activities, so this idea appeals to me) is that people will go into it with the attitude that the activity should be fairly easy to complete and they are entitled to the rewards. As it sits now, if you are a solo player and attempt a team activity you are well aware you may never complete it and it may be a gruelling grind, but you may want that challenge. The day I solo’d Crota and got my Nechro was a proud gaming moment for me. That was because it was meant for 6 people to complete. Or even when I successfully solo a NF it feels like an accomplishment, to me anyway. I’m no Esoterrick, but it feels good when I can succeed against the odds. Making those things legitimate solo activities will take away that feeling because inevitably the content would get easier to accommodate complaints that would come.

11 RepliesMixed feelings on this. On the one hand, I've had great fun raiding. On the other, when my clan abandoned ship last October, I was frozen out of much of the game for months. Making it solo would make it far less fun, but everyone would be able to participate equally.

Destiny was made for team multiplayer, raids require team multiplayer, trials requires team multiplayer, there are just parts of the game that are solo player friendly, doesn't mean it all needs to be. [spoiler]lfg, look it up[/spoiler]

It’s a multiplayer game. You MUST have WiFi and Gold/PS+ to play. Even the box says “Online Multiplayer” You want them to change the ENTIRE game just because you stupid ass solo players will NOT put in FIVE minutes to form a group and do the MULTIPLAYER activity? Why don’t you go cry to Blizzard and tell them to make all their raids for solo players or ESO or literally any game that’s multiplayer. Quit playing the game if you REFUSE to actually play it properly and the bïtch about it on the forums.
