I'm at the last stretch of the game and my first time ever playing a Mass Effect game and ant to know if there are any side quests that do anything major for ME2&3. I've already done everyones loyalty mission and heard finding 10 Asari writing does something for ME3 and I already have 7 with just playing the game. I heard the Cerberus quest do something, but do they do anything beyond lore and an email?
I really have no idea why I waited this long. Man, this game is good, even with the super bland open worlds.
Oh, yeah I already got a million credits if that does anything(heard it did and didn't even try. I just had a freaking ton of VII and blow mods after Vimire and sold everything that was worse than what I was using) I have also done the x57 or whatever DLC quest and the kill the rogue VI on the moon as well.

4 Replieshttps://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps3/684758-mass-effect-trilogy/faqs/69336 There's a codex of all 3 games. At the bottom of mass effect 1 you'll see "important missions", "semi important missions" and "non important" missions. Bear in mind the codex may give slight spoilers so if it bothers you then I can try to get the name of the missions by themselves if you want them (will take some time). If you go by the codex, doing everything important and semi important should do it for you. Doing them will do a few things that'll carry over into the other games which I won't spoil unless you want to know. I will say some can be minimal but it still reconizes you doing them in the previous game. There is to many quests for me to just name off that can have an impact in future games, hence me linking a codex for a quick answer. I take it you're trying the whole trilogy then? Cause mass effect is a -blam!-ing masterpiece of a franchise and you should have fun with it. You'll definitely see improvements on certain things in each game as well (the bland worlds will be gone in ME2-3) and the characters in the franchise will get close to your heart as you progress through the trilogy.
