Curious as to how many of you take the bus or a subway compared to driving or other modes of transportation. I took the bus all the time in Seattle even though I had a car. Was cheap, convenient, and I could read or play games while I someone drove me to my destination.
Feel free to share any crazy public transportation stories. I know they're out there...

I used to work downtown in my area and had to take a bus due to being on a waiting list for a parking pass. These buses weren't like a typical city bus, though. They were like charter buses (two seats on each side of the aisle facing front). It wasn't too bad because I like to read but it took about an hour each way with the other stops and such. We ended up changing work locations about a week after I got my parking pass for downtown (such is my luck) so I drive to work now. I miss being able to finish books a lot faster but I like being able to sleep in a little later and being home sooner with the 20 min commute.
