That block can definately be a clutch move in certain situations. My personal favorite was a heroic strike early on in warmind. We were at nokris and both my teamates got killed out in the open not far from nokris. Popped super, skated over there, blocked nokris while rezzing both, had just enough time left to sheild throw a good sized group of incoming thrall.
Id be happy with sentinel if they fixed the damn hit detection, boosted movement speed, block didnt lower supercharge(i like the idea of it gaining more but it would need testing), and blocking damage creates orbs.

I'm not saying that blocking, right now, is completely useless. But to be frank... there is absolutely nothing in the game to 'encourage' that sort of playstyle. I would love to see the block be more than a clutch, but rather, a viable stratedgy and support role. There are plenty of things that can be clutches, like tether or GG or devour or rifts and whatnot. The difference is that they're not 'just' clutches, but have actual playstyles around them. I think with the changes I propose it would get out of the clutch closet, and into the stratedgy section.
