taking these point in order
1. Rasputin killed the Iron Lords. Pretty easy to mistrust him after that.
2. Guardians can't die (unless plots require it and so ghosts mysteriously become destructable and killable at will).
3. Cayde probably (even now while dead and stuck in the black garden) is wondering when his ghost lost it's ability to shield itself, go into orb mode and cloak. As his dead ghost hovers beside him in the never never. Cayde's probably shouting "How the...what the...but you're....awwww come on I was having a day out with my favorite Guardian!"

I mean if a group of super powered gun wielding individuals broke into your bunker you’d attack to.
1. Rasputin killed the Iron Lords.
They tried to claim what he was supposed to protect. It warned them, they didn't listen and started to fight with it. Then they released SIVA which plagued them and made the last of them sacrifice themselves in order to contain the plague. Doesn't sound like Rasputin killed them. But yeah, I understand why Big Blue doesn't trust Rasputin, since it didn't recognise Iron Lords as the humanity which it was supposed to protect too, I guess.

Rasputin to this day still doesn't understand the Traveler, ghosts, or the guardians so he's naturally wary of them, so perhaps that's why he fought the Iron Lords. Better safe than sorry...

Correct me if I'm wrong; but didn't Rasputin only activate in retaliation to the SIVA threat? Which the Iron Lord's were responsible for, and then realized their mistake.

Lol I know it's a joke hence the bracketed text about the ghosts becoming vulnerable as the plot requires. :)

They called them selves iron lords.. I have hated them since I knew about them. Acting high and mighty like some lame freemason club.
