Just another "I got banned for no reason" thread.

I just logged in today, and basically. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/457175650696953867/459868175748562944/unknown.png No emails to tell me why I got banned. The link doesn't even say anything specifically, just shows a lists of possible reasons. I couldn't even find Bungie's customer support ticket submission. Or maybe I'm just frustrated because of this. I wouldn't be as frustrated if they'd actually given me a reason as to why and I actually try to dispute it. But from reading that list of ban-able offences, it could be because I tried to record an 18-second clip of my fireteam dying consistently while doing the Leviathan raid on our way to Calus. Here is that video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWkF5jTjugE Another could be that my IP address has been changing a lot lately, because I've been having issues with my Internet disconnecting because of the rain (I live in Florida). And I try to resolve it by renewing my IP every time it happens, which doesn't really help much. I don't even play PvP/Trials much. I only play PvP for the weekly milestone. It could also be because I leave quickplay matches early (I haven't even done any PvP this week)? But that should only result in a suspension, I hope. I don't even know. And I doubt this will be resolved anytime soon. And if I don't get unbanned I want a refund on my Forsaken pre-order. I've been reading as well and saw that the cause could've been what I have running in the background while playing. Here's a screenshot of what I have running in the background in my notification bar. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/406460856696569856/459890783047385094/unknown.png That's Discord, Battle.net App, Steam (I sometimes close this because of automatic game updates), MSI Gaming APP (for my GPU LED), Realtek HD Audio Manager, Kaspersky Internet Security (for protection, obviously), Windows Volume Control, Network Connectivity. Occasionally, I will have BitTorrent on and downloading 'stuffs'. ;) But if that was the case then I should've been banned the first week or something 'cause that's how I've been playing Destiny since release.. There's also been mentions of the new Discord update where you can start up the game using Discord's client app, which I had to restart my B.net app and log back in. Check my history, Reiben#11961, if you think I've been cheating. Go ahead and publicly humiliate me. All I ever do is PvE. If this wall of text is kinda confusing, it's because I copy-pasted some of it from my Blizzard ticket. And I had already refunded Foreskin in case I don't get unbanned.

  • I'm in the exact same position right now. Haven't played in 3 days, but when I tried to log in today it said I was banned. Battle.net booted me and had me log back in, so I don't know if there was something hinky going on or what, but I received no email or anything. No idea what's going on, and Bungie claims there are NO ways to contest this. There's no contact info or email or anything, which is just bizarre. Something had to have gone wrong on their end. Outside of Steam and anti-virus I have nothing in the background. Really upset about this, and have no idea what's going on.
