Blackout: A tweak proposal to make it less punishing but more challenging

The two most problematic modifiers in the game: Glass, and Blackout. While it'd be easy to rant about both of them like the degenerate that I am, I instead want to discuss how to make them better. For now though, let's just focus on Blackout in particular. So, the biggest problem with Blackout is that it is essentially two debuffs in one. You lose your radar, and everything can one-shot you with their melee. Thrall, War Beasts, Benedict's broom, you name it. It's Lightswitch 2.0 basically. While yes, it can be manageable if you are super careful, but that also makes the Heroics more tedious than they should be. If you're running pretty much any Hive strike (Strange Terrain in particular), it's almost torturous unless you're a masochist. However, [b]this can be fixed[/b] relatively easy while keeping it still challenging and less overly punishing. How? Split the modifier into two, then enhance both. The lack of radar should remain on what will stay labeled as Blackout, but now it has the addition of quieter enemies. Thrall won't screech as loudly, War beasts won't howl, etc. This still enforces you to be more visually aware of where the enemy is because your radar won't help and they won't be as noisy. The insta-kill melee will be renamed "Deaths Grip" (edgy, I know); however, instant kills will only apply from behind. Frontal strikes will still deal massive damage (they should certainly drop your shields without even factoring in elemental burns), but not enough to simply one-shot you if you are healthy, in your Super, or just after reviving/being revived by a teammate. So what do we get out of this? We get two challenging modifiers out of this instead of one over-punishing modifier. One makes you less reliant on your radar and your ears, while the other one punishes you for hugging the weaker baddies out of pity. Both will also keep the same multiplier the current Blackout has, and can be put in tandem on Five of Swords to make an even more brutal experience (I don't know why you'd do that, but you do you). So, as I conclude this thread, what are your thoughts? Do you like this idea, and/or want to see more like this down the road? Do you dislike this and have a constructive reason for it? I look forward to any constructive feedback.
